We are just finishing the final designs - watch this space! - they will be available in ST16, ST17 or any other ST postcode you fancy, probably! Also, in a range of colours and sizes, very soon. They will only cost a tenner - with about half of that going to staffordforum.com to pay for server costs and future advertising plans. There may also be an optional, slightly more expensive version, with the "ST16 'til I die" slogan on the back, with a huge "16", footy tees style.

see, i'm not sure about this ST1x business.. i grew up in ST17 (you'd be amazed how far it stretches), but moved to ST16 around about 2002.. the brief time i spent in ST16 was probably the best years of my life (seriously), so it's hard to know where my allegiance lies..

i'd feel a bit like a glory supporter with ST16 emblazoned on my chest when i only lived there for about 7% of my life :(

TENSHON

4000th post? Whatever, I'm nonchalant..
I was just wondering whether there's an ST16 or ST17 number plate in existence and if so are they for sale and how much?
unfortunately, i couldn't find either but a few came close.

Rowley Park = ST17

When we moved back to Stafford we lived in Castletown and I have to say we spent many long, long happy nights in the Castle Tav. We left at 6am more than once. Alas, the house was just too small (I know there's only the two of us and Pantz the cat, sorry that's her real name, her nick name is Kate Moss!!)
We, well, Jheych is a huge collector of junk! So, ST17 is where we currently reside.

Its a 'no brainer', as I believe our cerebrally challenged cousins across the pond say. Born on the Stone Road, in the house where my mum still lives, Balfour Boy, met Mrs Seed at school, had my first pint in the Penny, fist copped of with Mrs Seed at a Penny New Year Bash, conducted my first adolescent fumblings at various venues around Trinity Fields and Parkside (don't tell Mrs Seed), ST16 Till I Die please where do I pay!

The seedlings are a different matter! One born in Bury, one in ST16, one in ST17!

yes but as theres no bank account for the forum we cant 'handle' physical cash as we've no where to put it. therefore any cash is going into a paypal account to pay for the upkeep of this here forum.

i get the impression that paypal is like ntl.. their service works brilliantly, and is top notch for most people, but the minute you run into problems you are well and truly FUBARed..

i am fortunate enough to fall into the former category.. i have bought and sold literally hundreds of items over ebay, since may 2000, and i have never once had a problem with paypal.. i've had transactions as little as £0.99 and as much as £650 (when some idiot bought 2 Pearl Jam tickets off me for £650 lol) and every time it has gone flawlessly.. however, there is definitely a lot of distrust for the service 'pon the internet..

i'm not putting this forward as an argument to not use paypal - as i say, i'm all for it - just thought i'd stick my 2p in.. have you looked into Google Checkout? it's only just launched here in the UK, and they are gagging to drag business away from paypal.. i have absolutely no experience of it, so i don't know if it is even available to individuals, let alone how easy to use it is, but thought i'd mention it..

i'm looking forward to the t-shirts, though :D

if you use the basic account on paypal then you arent covered if anything goes fubar.
we get about 100 transactions a day through paypal, and ive only had one problem in 5 years, and that was some tit who didnt realise his son was raping his paypal account all over the t'internet..

the beauty of it is that you can just 'email' money, even if you dont have a paypal account. theres no other way of paying for the forum, cos if you want to use visa/maestro cards on here like whats on my site i pay 200 quid a month standing charge, plus a percentage of every transaction as well, and you need a business account to do so. unless we know we're gonna be clothing the whole of the boro in st16/17 etc tees it aint gonna be worth it!
