Mrs T meeting ex work colleagues in town this afto so so am having a bit of a tour. Liquor Tank, not for me. Devils Taphouse, cheerful young lady serving, decent pint, still not as good as The Floodgate days. Poked my head in The Coach on Mill Bank but nothing I fancied drinking. Currently in The Bird, lovely, decent beer, nice atmosphere, best of the afternoon so far.
Just my opinion obvs.

Spent a lot of time in the Bear and Pheasant when I lived in Stafford, used to be a great little pub. Not been in for a while.

Kicking off early tonight, handbags at 20 paces outside the Coach and Horses.
Tonight's star prize for foulest language goes to a female member of the Coach 'Security Team'.

Why you go to the coach? it's as much of a dive as the grapes.

Much rather go Market vaults... Shrew bird..... or anywhere.

A great improvement, 40 years ago it would probably have been Watney, Whitbread, Allied & Greene King
Yes indeed, my recollection of Norfolk nearer fifty years ago was a near Watneys monopoly.
