Lorry (or lorries) stuck on Marsh Street seems a fair bet.
"To be fair", unless they put physical barriers in place, they can "close" all the streets they like - there will be zero enforcement, particularly at night. If this really is the route then they should close all the cut through streets to all but residents to prevent small residential streets where children play being turned in to speeding car death traps .. Drivers have no consideration fot anyone in other peoples roads, they think its ok to speed down other people's residential streets but would be totally pissed off if people did it down theirs.

Holmcroft Ward Matters says -
An update on the Greyfriers roundabout works:
A number of people are asking why these works are necessary and where the funding is coming from.
We felt it would be a good idea to try to give answers for residents and a little clarification.
In the Chancellors autumn statement, he allocated additional funding for highways work.
Some of this funding has been allocated to these works which will cost over £300,000.
The road surface is extremely worn, which has resulted in numerous accidents of varying severity and, on many occasions, causing vehicles to plow into the guard rails.
Making this busy roundabout safe for vehicles and pedestrians alike is imperative.
The island will be resurfaced with a heavy duty non slip material, curb stones replaced, new guardrails installed and resurfaced footpaths.
This will result in this island becoming as safe as possible from a highways perspective and will hopefully reduce the number of accidents in this area.
If you have any questions in relation to this, you are welcome to call your County Councillor Jonathan Price, who is happy to help.
