Yeah, but they've told you it is, so, if you get do caught in a temporary closure issue, they've told you...It's not though.
Their consciences will be clear.

The pictures posted on Facebook look like Eccleshall Rd too, not Stone Rd, a34.... Very strange.Another report at 17:10 on radio Stoke saying closed in both directions from Beaconside to "Tiger Bowl" island. Reckon they meant Lloyds island. Still wrong though it appears.
Soz it was me. They gave me 75cl instead of the litre bottle of gin.No idea what's going on in front of Stone Rd Post Office/Bargain Booze, but there's, police, ambulances & people shouting in the Rd, best avoided at the moment.
Yesterday was horrific traffic wise, it's not been like that for a long while, today was much better.I haven't been out driving much lately, but I was out yesterday and felt really odd. The amount of cones and restrictions around the place with queues of traffic on each main road i drove on, to get out of town. More a feeling of being controlled than being kept safe as lots of traffic measures really seem to have no pedestrian safety enhancements.
On the way back into town some 2 hours later I got home without any delays and I found it odd that I could do this at around 4.30!
Never had that sort of trouble when Eric Parker kept it.Soz it was me. They gave me 75cl instead of the litre bottle of gin.
You remind me that John Major's biggest achievement as Prime Minister was setting up the Cones Hotline.I haven't been out driving much lately, but I was out yesterday and felt really odd. The amount of cones we have in Castletown is getting beyond a joke, yes, they're building the new road, and no-one is taking a blind bit of notice of those outside here. Says access to frontages only, yet folk still drive thru the gap and have reverse out, back onto the main road to go up the Doxey Road! Couple of nights ago, I saw two girls picking the cones up and trying to block the road with them. I had move them (the cones, not the girls) before I could drive anywhere.I haven't been out driving much lately, but I was out yesterday and felt really odd. They go thru the gap here, turn up Jerningham, then do a complete circle, before heading up the Doxey Road. Quite funny watch at times.I've heard nearly as much traffic going past here as when the road was open properly. No real signage to say no through route!
I believe so, drove home from my sisters and must have been passed by 30 HGVs. All going up the Eccleshall Road. Was the motorway shut again last night? The heavy thundering of the juggernauts is unbearable and I don't even live on the Eccleshall Rd. Terrible
Took me about 10 mins to cross a small road by Baswich yesterday, I hate cars not only do they destroy the air quality the planet, they destroy my walks! (I actually had to walk down the road quite a bit to be able to cross eventually) then walk back up said road. one of the reasons i'd love a full on lockdown again
(Other places was to muddy)

It's not a situation unique to Stafford.
