Thieves with a welcome sense of nostalgia - nicking lead - instead of mugging someone for their smart phone. Who would be responsible for such an old fashioned crime ? Why would they risk getting caught for the time it would take to remove the lead which currently has a scrap value of only 75p - £1 / kilo - they probably got away with around £100 - £150 worth tops.

£100 for 30 minutes work (two blokes £50 each), not too bad really, not sure how long they had to commute, that'll squeeze their profits.
