dammit, whenever i read this now i never know if people are being serious or not! lol
Is it possible to make it so that if one was to hover over it, it would get bigger?

Thus making recognition easier, of course...

It sounds like deferring for a year is a good idea given the circs .... also has she considered studying somewhere outside of London and therefore a bit cheaper?

I agree Mikinton.
She is going to be studying Fashion and journalism - she really thinks London is the place to be for fashion. It surprisingly didn't work out any more expensive than the option she was going to go for last year at Nottingham Trent because the course is shorter by a year. It's just the cost of living really but as she's good at budgetting we weren't worried about that. It's just the timing now that's the problem.

Mine went to Teesside, so in terms of cost, we weren't complaining. Not done too badly since either. (Look for her name in the scrolling credits.)

final update on this ridiculous saga - my daughter decided as Student Finance had said we wouldnt get a decision on how much she would get until days before she would go to uni that she would defer her place for a year as it was leaving it too late if she was to then find out they weren't going to give her enough to actually go. She had already given notice on her flat before the problems we had with them so she was mindful of the fact that if the decision came just days before leaving and she wasn't to get enough then she wouldn't have time to find somewhere else to live in Stafford.
So yesterday - two days before she was due to go to Uni - she gets the letter from them telling her that she will get the FULL loan and grant!!! Despite numerous phone calls to them telling us she would not get the full grant - which is what she based her decision on. You can imagine how angry and disappointed we both are. She has now signed a new 6 month lease on a new flat so she can't now change her mind and in any case has deferred her place until next year and cancelled her accommodation. I shouldn't really be surprised at the ineptness given the complete cock up they made of the whole thing though!
