Haha soz! Will report back in the P&A thread later to make you even more jealous! Anyway.....back to the original conversation...Glam said:Rub it in why don't you!Andreas Rex said:I'm going there in a couple of hours for some special sausage action!. It's not quite as easy as that I'm afraid. If we all thought the same then the world would be a very boring place. My group of friends isn't made up of people who have exactly the same opinion on things as I do; in fact, more often than not, I'm talking crap and they all disagree!Mrs M said:We should not be warring we should be getting rid of all the sh*t stirrers.
That's absolutely fair enough. An unfortunate but guaranteed byproduct of a free-to-join public internet forum though.Mrs M said:I don't have a problem with people having a different opinion, it's just the people who obviously, purposely want to cause trouble I have a problem with.
I appreciate the sentiment, and most definitely the support, Glam, but the last thing I want is for this to turn into some kind of churlish "Us vs. Them" slanging match.Glam said:I don't know how to post things from there on here, dunno if i'd really want to. I think it's clear that you have a personal issue with bobby_dazzler, and you are (unintentionally!) expressing this frustration against The Forum as a whole. This has had the unfortunate effect of your friends on that page thinking poorly of this place, and thinking you mean we are all negative.Mrs M said:This was not my intention. I think that we need things like Stafford Forum, Super Radio, Stafford Remembered. It's just the few that spoil it for everyone, for example Bobby Dazzler who was obviously out to slag off Super Radio.
I agree with the first part, certainly, as per my many posts on the subject. However, the latter part is quite ironic, given that you are name-checked on that Facebook page more than once as someone who could be considered as doing exactly that.Mrs M said:We should not be warring we should be getting rid of all the sh*t stirrers.
Don't know if that comment was meant in the way you typed it but PMSLGlam said:it's bad when one of the leading funeral directors in the town has a dig.
I would just like to state that I have exchanged messages with a number of DJs at Super Radio Stafford, and I honestly believe that this is not the majority view. I've had some great support from some of the guys there, with some good suggestions about how to work together and streamline our interaction.John said:It would seem that some of Super Radio's fans and maybe even some of their staff live in such a world if the above quote from Stafford Remembered is to be believed. If that is the majority view at Super Radio then that is a great pity and I fear will lead to discussions on here in a few years time from people who remember the local station before it ceased operating and wish to reminisce.
Indeed! I think it's clear to everyone that they have improved in leaps & bounds since they started.John said:However, judging by the way Super Radio has changed since it started in terms of it's djing and programming etc then those that make the decisions there clearly are taking on board many of the things people have said on here in the hope that the station will become even better and are to be congratulated for that.
Lol no it wasn't,i'm last person be a comedienne. Point taken Admin,I like Super Radio,it's a blooming shame you can't get it on a normal radio or in the car.John said:Don't know if that comment was meant in the way you typed it but PMSLGlam said:it's bad when one of the leading funeral directors in the town has a dig.
Ah, there are ways to do it! I'm sure someone more technically minded will be along shortly to tell you how.Glam said:I like Super Radio,it's a blooming shame you can't get it on a normal radio or in the car.
They could tell me till christmas and I still wouldn't be able do it!Admin said:Ah, there are ways to do it! I'm sure someone more technically minded will be along shortly to tell you how.Glam said:I like Super Radio,it's a blooming shame you can't get it on a normal radio or in the car.
Out of interest, do you say it with a 'baz' beginning or 'bass' (pronounced like the fish)?unkillabill said:the presenter couldnt even say baswich
It is now back working inI said:Lately i've found that the home page the link er links to doesn't actually start the station playing - i'm guessing this is due to changes at super radio stafford's end.
How do you tune in if you can't at the web site?
Edit: it appears to be that way only when i use Chrome - so it's almost certainly my fault.
Thank you Mrs M, but I purposefully held back from posting over the last few days to let the thread calm down. You do not have a right to push people out of one thread and into an other just ‘cause it might suit your motives.Mrs M said:... for example Bobby Dazzler who was obviously out to slag off Super Radio. It was a bit obvious when he only ever commented on this page. Now we have Linda Ladoo who joined the day after Bobby Dazzler and has actually posted on two threads.
