Heard that Mrs.Bailey is now refusing to talk to the newsletter, because the newsletter posted something positive about the hospital

Seen this post also, can't confirm I don't dare to go on her twitter page- for my own good.

Julie baileys twitter page yesterday she was asked ' does she ever receive good comments about care because it does happen' to which Julie replied and I quote ' Christ I receive enough phone calls, don't encourage them! ' surely for someone is campaigning to 'cure' the NHS she would welcome the positive comments which support the good care which actually happens.

Not that there are enough hours in the day and all that, but i've just been looking at that there twitter and you appear to have missed a bit.

JB: we have u & others like u who want to care, thats reason to celebrate. In last few days heard from nurses & Dr's crying 2 me 4 help

Is it too much to ask for references when allegations are being bandied about?

Well I've read the news listened to people's views and saw it with my own eyes yesterday! I was at the hospital visiting my terminally ill uncle who we were told yesterday morning to inform relatives to go and visit as it's nearly time, which we did only to be visited by a nurse during our visit to ask us to go and pick out a nursing home tomorrow and she would give us a list of homes to take with us ! Clearly not read his notes! Then the poor chap in the next bed was questioned by the dr why had he been taken off his medication, to which the guy replied how the bloody hell would I know you're the Dr ! But had they not lost his notes they would have known! on leaving visited loo, no hand wash facilities all empty and toilet roll on floor and waste bin over flowing! Uncle only had one wish during our visit which was he wanted to go home or go into hospice but not to be left there, but due to his illness sadly he can't go home. where I am happy to support the hospital as it is a facility greatly needed, I'm not reassured that improvements are being made on all levels, communication between staff is clearly an issue!

I am at a loss as to how withdrawing food and fluids can be described as a 'Care Pathway'.

You'd never be allowed to treat animals like that.
