Confirmed amazing by husband who usually says 'Im not eating any of that vegan crap!'
You don't have to bother buying me that, I don't like that stuff, and i'm still waiting for the cat pee smelling candle.I'm still struggling with gifts though,
..... although I hear that 'Malibu' is a good choice of drink...
I've got plenty of them left! Just need time off to shove them through your doorYou don't have to bother buying me that, I don't like that stuff, and i'm still waiting for the cat pee smelling candle.
Whilst visiting a friend before Christmas she made me a coffee with the only milk she had which happened to be oat milk.
I actually quite enjoyed the taste and this milk seems to have less sugar than cow's milk so I've bought a carton to help try to reduce my blood sugar levels.
Anyway, whilst not professing to becoming a vegan, I was wondering whether all oat milk is GM free or whether some varieties are modified as are some soy products?
Good question!
I would always assume GM unless it's organic? Tis' just the way the world is unfortunately!
Also worth a note for vegan milk alternatives, although they can contain less sugar they may be lacking other good stuff found in milk (iron / calcium etc)
!HOWEVER!
If you purchase those with say 'Fortified' you're getting everything you need exactly they same as cows milk! Joy!
I believe you can make your own oat milk (depends how much time you have on your hands!) then you could ensure it's organic? I haven't tried it myself but I understand its as simple as leaving oats to soak overnight and extracting the liquid! Yum?!
