Ha ha lol nothing goes unnoticed on the forumInternet surveillance suggests that @Keemanan 123 go has gone to Barmouth for the day.
Presumably to pay homage to their away strip?

Great meal as always here last night - nicely busy too, three other tables full.
I've always felt that he missed his true vocation. It's my favourite Indian and Abdul is a fantastic host.

His 'internal database' carries more personal information on the local population than GCHQ and the Police National Computer put together.

Looks lovely, we've never tried Thawa Bridge, but it may well be next on the list.Tonight, being hungry and with little in the house, and it being early on a Tuesday evening, I decided to risk being sneaked in for a sit-down nosh-up.
Abdul was on duty and the place was quiet, although you could have cooked the nans on the phone.
I knew what I was having and settled down with my standard Tsingtao - in honour of Gunther Plüschow, the only German POW ever to escape from the UK back to Germany - indeed, his escape started in what is now the city of Qingdao. A German colony at that time, he escaped from there as the Japanese occupied it, them being on the other side in Round 1.

I elected for a Chicken Thawa which arrived in its usual impressive fashion, emulating a volcanic caldera. The current 'lad' issued me with two warnings - "That dish is very hot" and "Take your time!".

I managed everything but about a quarter of the nan - as I was finishing, eventually, the advance guard of another party arrived, in a St John's Ambulance jacket - I felt safer at this point, as I felt that I was close to needing that sort of assistance.
As I left, Abdul insisted on giving me an After Eight 'wafer thin mint' - this seemed somewhere between a challenge and a threat - I brought it home, rather than take the risk of an explosion...

Absolutely agree with you 500%. Great bloke, great service, great food, great value. We love Thawa Bridge, especially Abdul. Abdul is such a lovely man that genuinely loves his customers. He always seems to go the extra mile for them. A fantastic man.
