Worcester Sauce? Is that anything like Worcestershire Sauce?
There are those that say, as in the Stafford/Staffordshire controversy, that it is knot.
In the neighbouring jurisdiction, the cops provide a coverall service, particularly for those currently in isolation, often elderly and living alone (cocooning, as it is termed) - shopping, delivering medicines, medical trips, etc. and sorting out any of the various issues that may have become difficult as some services become unavailable for the duration of these times. Whilst engaging with the recipients of these services, it can become apparent that there may be other, less critical matters that still could do with being resolved.
Often, it can be more efficient to just call in on the way past and sort the issue directly.
Difficult to imagine our brave boys in blue doing that over here.
Letting them into my garden !!! Are you joking ?? …. they'd find all the bodies !!!
or a more 'understandable' version

And another one.
Just a thought but, that word ‘COVID’ - it struck me that in a different context it might sound like an Irish folk group’s name - and in another, an 80’s heavy metal band . . .
Every time someone says 'Corona' I think...
My my my corona....
Almost hit my 5k target, certainly easier to train without work getting in the way
The golf course is in great nick.
Just walked from Haughton to Derrington and back for today’s walkies reminiscing about how we used to play along the old railway when we were kids.
This was before there were any trees like these growing.
Then I worked it out that it must have been over 40 years ago!!!
What frightens me is I actually travelled that line to Newport. I was working on the Staffordshire Advertiser when it closed to passengers so that would be either 64 or 65.
Scary isn't it ?
It was the cost of replacing all the light bulbs that was the final nail in its coffin.
I was going to say you can't possibly know anything about that night ….
Story from my time on the Advertiser:
