only through other people, but their people work for pubs in stafford so i believe it could be true.
something about some blokes picking on a some poor sod, throwing him outside on his head, and thinking he was just knocked out when his neck was broken.

I heard something similar on friday. Not sure what has happened but feel it would be inappropriate to comment before the full facts are known. It must be something about that place that attracts bad press. Didn't a previous landlord get done for raping someone in town?

Yes that's correct.

Hate the place tbh. Whenever I've been in it it's been full of knobs either attempting to kick off or they've just finished turning someone over.

Satchmos had it's moments but it also attracted that element especially towards the end.

I actually think it is an ok little bar for the ford's standards. Myself and RJS spoke to the owner a couple of weeks back and he seems like a straight up guy. Has put his own cash in and has mananged to keep people coming in through the door despite the fact his toilets are a disgrace. No running water in the blokes bogs is a bit of a shocker!! These are part of his future plans for development he assured us! I'm pretty sure that he won't want this kind of publicity though.

I spoke to the owner at Xmas, when the toilets had no running water, he said he was sorting it then!! Dirty.
The smell when you walk in is not good either.

Think this is an urban myth. my friend was in North Staffs Hospital Thursday night, when a lad from Stafford was bought in with head injury, for being thrown out of bar because of his behaviour.

Mystery solved. I've been scouring the local news for stuff about this. A girl we were drinking with on Friday told us about it. She works in Apres, and had apparently heard it through the bouncers. Must have been a pretty serious head injury if he was taken to North Staffs though.
