I had the Sweaty Swine burger the other day. My wife had the lunchtime special. We both commented that they were possibly the best burgers we have ever tasted.

Fantastic burgers.

Early doors tonight.

The Market Vaults says - Due to staff Illness we will unfortunately have to close the bar at 8:00 - 8:30pm tonight.

The bar will be open all afternoon until then. We will be fully staffed from tomorrow and also serving food as per regular advertised hours.

Apologies for the inconvenience and we hope you can join us for a Boxing Day drink this afternoon / early evening.

We only get into Town during the day on a Saturday usually. We've tried getting into the Vaults a few times for a burger but its always busy. Finally managed to get in on Christmas Eve lunchtime. Only went for the "Big Norm" each. They were marvellous, got to be the best burgers we've had in a very long time & very reasonably priced for the quality. Can't wait to get back in for more of the range.:bravo: :clap:

I've worked my way through most of the menu...and all are darn good!


the BDJ is always worth a look at when considering your next visit :)

The Market Vaults says -

POST XMAS STAFF PARTY

Dear Customers

We spend the whole festive period serving other people, so we have to take our Xmas staff party in January. Therefore, we will be closing the pub at 6pm this evening so the loyal and hardworking Market Vaults staff can enjoy their well deserved jolly up.

We will be open as per usual hours tomorrow.
