What beers?
I've only been once and had Wye Valley HPA as the first cask of Holdens had sold out.
Recognising and chatting with someone I knew, as so often happens in Stafford pubs, meant I didn't take much notice of other beers or the food.

I understand the bar has a cellar?

Would this be where the bank vault would have been? Or was it just a space to meet Maureen from the typing pool for a quick shuffle?

Asking for a friend

TIA

Went in last night and enjoyed some good pale ales.

They had 5 handpumps on of which I tried the Pale Brummie, Waddle it be and Wheelie Pale.

They also had a 5% Blackheath Stout which two of my mates enjoyed.

The barman was saying that the beer is turning over so quickly that they can't always use all 5 handpulls due to not having the space to settle the next beers coming on.

He also mentioned that they have various offers on depending on which day it is. One offer is a pint and a pie for a fiver on Mondays but I can't remember the others.

Nice comfortable environment with good beers, great conversation and no idiots.

Then they might consider ordering larger casks, kilderkins instead of firkins.
I'm sure it's just a small teething problem in getting to understand your customer flow and beer throughput.

It is great news for a new business to be able to sell so much stock so quickly and they do keep a good pint so I'm happy to wait for a short while if the beers aren't quite ready.
