this is the weekend of the stafford music festival, innit (which this garden party is sort of an unofficial extension of)?
It is yes, and much as i was interested in going to the MONF, i have to pledge my allegiance to Forum-based activities.
The Stafford Music Festival website says it is on between the 7th and 15th of July, so doesn't seem to clash with this Garden Party, which is good. I should be coming along, hopefully!

That is the town centre bit of "Stafford Festival", not "Stafford Music Festival". There is also "Stafford Festival Shakespeare" which takes place at the castle...

Either way - that's a lot of festivities!

How far will you be coming from? It's pretty close to the Sainsburys bus stops, not sure about numbers though..

Parkside/Town. Is it walking distance from Sainsburys? It looks like it from the map. I know I can get the bus to Sainsburys, but that's as far as I know. Realised if I drive I can't drink :)

http://www.transportdirect.info/ for all your postcode-to-postcode journey planning needs - handles all sorts of public transport too.

As far as I know, the Railway Inn's postcode is ST16 2EB.

** EDIT ** Expanded the acronym AFAIK, it seemed to be confusing people :)
