Can't remember when we went, just know it was really warm! Much better than I expected, well laid out site with plenty for kids. Best idea by far was a play park in a pub beer garden - send the kids in and have a few jars, they can't get out without coming past you!

don't mention the blinds
I once took advantage of cross channel day trip courtesy of Sun vouchers, i was a bit hesitant about spending time with Sun readers at close quarters. My fears were blown out of the water as most of the riff-raff around me were readers of the Daily Mail....

The Sun and Moon! Stroke of genius, although we were attacked by seagulls whenever we went. Hopefully going back this year.

I have changed the thread title to more clearly show that this is related to holidays offered by The Sun newspaper. If that is not correct, please accept my apologies & let me know a more appropriate thread title.

Thanks. :)

I'd rather assumed it was the name of the holiday company with which they booked
Thank you Withnail, I suspect you are correct. I have changed the thread title accordingly.

hellsbells01785, if you could clarify for me, to make sure we are not chastising the wrong company, that would be great. :)

Thanks.

As someone who does the SUN holidays each year it can vary massively which park you choose. We try and research it first, but you live and learn.
Park Resorts are usually OK and better than say Pontins.

Anyway back slightly more on topic you could either complain to the SUN or complain to the company that runs the park. To be fair to the SUN they have no control over what the park does do they. Personally I'd complain to the park owners.

i think the OP means the company sunholidays.co.uk, as pointed out by withnail - not holidays from The Sun newspaper..

i may be wrong - hellsbells hasn't confirmed yet!

The "100 quid for an upgrade" in the OP makes me think it was an offer in the "newspaper".
i've just had a quick look at sunholidays.co.uk and there are plenty of chargeable upgrades, so it could be either i suppose!

i reckon hellsbells should defo clarify when she gets a chance..
