The latest incarnation closes it's doors next month
After much speculation, we would like to personally let our loyal customers & supporters know that The Tap Bar & Restaurant will be closing its doors on Friday 26th July.
It has been a very difficult decision & one that we haven’t taken lightly.
Not only have we enjoyed meeting, getting to know and becoming friends with so many of you, but we have built a home & team.
We would like to thank all of you for your custom and would love to see you in The Tap before we close to raise a few more glasses!

Shame. We went a couple of months ago, still good food but it was definitely quiet for a Saturday night.

I think it's the Kings Arms that does particularly well from its proximity to the Rangers ground.

Because steak houses tend to attract customers out for a proper meal, spending more and travelling further (driving) than to a wet led local such as the Tap and Spile was thirty years ago.
I do drive, though nothing like the distances of when I did so for a living.
