Does anyone know what's happening with the Broad Eye Windmill? There seemed to be some interest in restoring it some time ago but all seems to have gone quiet. I think there was some preservation group set up but haven't been able to find out much on the intaweb!

There was a leaflet through my letterbox a few weeks ago updating the situation....but I can't find it and can't remember what it said! It's still in the process of being restored, though they can only do it in stages due to funding.

I'll have a look at the notice on the window when I walk past later. It's a fascinating building and well worth a visit next time they have an open day.
