Wisdoms? I had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth out when I was 17, looked like a hamster that had gone 10 rounds with Rocky! (things were different in the 80's!).Today I found....
Out that I need to have 4 teeth removed!
Fun times!!
I've opted for the 'knock me out' option!
It should wear off one day...Wisdoms? I had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth out when I was 17, looked like a hamster that had gone 10 rounds with Rocky! (things were different in the 80's!).
Hope all goes well x

I am also a member of the impacted Wisdoms club.
I was an outpatient at what is now the County Hospital - General Anaesthetic, Removal, and woken within a circle of four patients who had all gone through the same procedure,
I was the first to go under, so the first to come round. As i regained conciousness, i began to feel hunger, as i hadn't eaten for quite some time.
I was offered toast.
Toast.
To a man who had just had half of his feckin jaw removed. Feckin toast.
I declined.
As my comrades in dentistry all came round, one by one, they were, in turn, all similarly offered toast. One by one they all refused toast.
Toast?
Can you actually imagine anything less appropriate in the circumstances that is actually a foodstuff?
Maybe hers just weighed three and a half pounds each?I'm stocking up on soup, yoghurt, mash and more soup...
Any other suggestions welcome!
I friend told me she lost a stone when she had hers out!
To me it just sounds like a great excuse to gain a stone over the holidays!!!
... some slightly specialist IKEA screws that I've been looking for for a few months.
I dismantled a couple of cabinets to take a couple of hundred miles away and do remember putting the screws safely inside something, but I couldn't find them when I got there.
I've had a few halfhearted searches, but with no success - until I emptied the car for its MOT today and found them in the emergency gloves that are kept in one of the boot alcoves.
So now you've no longer got a screw loose.... the screw from the key of my trusty old Hyundai.
It's in the other side as seen in the picture above.
I first noticed that it was missing about a year ago and, although it isn't that necessary to hold it together (it is fairly secure once the split-ring is through the hole at the top), it did annoy me irrationally every time I noticed it was gone.
I found it just now, tidying up some wires in a room where the keys would rarely venture.
It is definitely the original screw, as it matches the one in the spare key exactly.

I wouldn't go that far..........................So now you've no longer got a screw loose.

I know this is old, sorry.
But my sister got given Weetabix after hers. Took her weeks to get the bits out of the holes....
