Today I saw snowdrops, crocuses, primulas & primroses, cyclamen, daffodils. Bloody garden thinks it's spring
Every year I plant daffodils, every year they come up blind (leaves, no flowers) anyone know why? The little narcissus always flower, but never the daffs...

That bus pass works wonders
Yes indeed, around Bath and from Wareham to Swanage last Autumn, but probably just the 205 between Euston and Paddington next month, although maybe instead of the train for Paignton and Newton Abbot on Friday and Saturday evenings as Torquay doesn't have many proper pubs.

In the beginning, there was darkness.
And the darkness was without form, and void.

And in addition to the darkness there was also me.
And I moved upon the face of the darkness.
And I saw that I was alone.

Let there be light!!!!!

Dark Star 1974
I remember the first time I saw that, without any idea of how things were going to end.

I still think it is the best ending to a film I've ever seen, certainly if you see it without any foreknowledge.

I finished the current re-run of The Prisoner last night and was hunting around for the next thing.

Dark Star is there in position now, in readiness.

You have removed a small amount of stress from my current problems...

One of my early posts on here was about Dark Star, and it caused me to receive a death threat, which is against Forum rules.
