Wookie, you fell down the stairs??!!! Oh dearey me, I can see that I missed the real FUN then heading back to my humble abode by car....oh well.

Did anyone notice the little ST16 Til I Die shabby chic heart hang up as you walked into the Sofas new dwelling........that was my little piece of handywork...orders to be taken...ST16 Til I die one side.....Home Sweet Home the other.....nah, just kidding I won't be making anymore it was a one off ( but could make more if I was offered enough for the blood loss during making them :D ..well worth the effort and the pricked fingers....!! They thought I was mad at work sewing this very cute item while listening to my Alice In Chains and Metallica :slayer:....hehe :D

Just popped on to echo the sentiments of previous posters . Merci for a most pleasant evening Mr S !. Very nice to meet and greet other forumites and put faces to names etc. Even bumped into someone I hadn't seen in many moons which was a lovely surprise .The beer, wine, cider, spirits and one very innocent but actually quite "that would fell an elephant" cocktail punch thingy (oww my head! ) flowed like no ones bizness !. General japes, high jinks and top times surrounded your new home and hopefully will continue to do so Mr S .Poor SB had to go to work today but made it head intact and free from hangovers .

Even had the obligatory beer related (?) accident too !. Did wonder about that second step down on the stairs when I saw it Wookie and actually thought it would be yours truly who was the victim . Alas twasn't me 'twas you hope it's nothing permanent or too painful mate . Or was it not that stair at all?

So thanks Yawll for a good evening You are all a fine body of men/women .Look forward to more of the same in the near future hopefully.

Now then . Poached egg on toast and a cup of tea I think would sort out this somewhat out of body experience I'm currently having .

Yeah tvm Sofa...had a really top time. Met a few Forumites I didn't know before, and plenty that I did...drank more than I should have done...all good! Thanks to brotherdoors aka Messy Jills for providing the musical entertainment, and thanks to John Kettley for letting us have a dry, mild night.

I'm blaming the vodka, the punch and the fact I'm not used to traversing stairs without a banister while wearing my trenchcoat :)

I'm fine, thanks, Jheych; despite the fact that Taitou thought I was either dead or at the very least had broken both my ankles (something to do with the way my feet were pointing :) ), I'm fine. The only damage, as far as I can tell, was some damage to my glasses (which Boots fixed for me for nothing), a couple of scratches (which will self-repair) and damage to my pride (which will just have to learn to bloody live with it.)

Don't know which stair it was; I have vague memory of getting about halfway down the stairs, and the fact I'm virtually undamaged means I probably didn't fall very far. Or that I'm indestructible... :)

I'm glad you're feeling better Wookie. I saw you walking home this morning, past the jail. I was on my way to work. I didn't want to blast the horn in case you had a bad headache :)

Many thanks to all who attended for warming my house so splendidly! It was great to see connections forming between groups of friends who happen to be on the Forum but did not know each other. It was also fantastic to introduce a friend who is moving to Castletown to her future neighbour! The boozy fruity punch seemed to work a treat! Cheers!

Maybe too well, got in at 3am, back out at 3pm today for all day drinkie-poos, so messy don't know where one started and other ended, or even whether it has ended yet . . . dancing at Shitago, pitchers of long island iced tea, wig-wearing fun though. Thought I'd be disguised well enough, til I was spotted by Cask.

Great party Sofa, lovin' the garden.
