TV died is it possible to use spare monitor as a tv

My TV has just died and as i now have a laptop for browsing the web i have my acer Acer X193HQ LCD monitor stored away and wondered is it possible to use it just as a TV , i also have a SIMZ freeview box and spare speakers. any help appreciated.
Monitor has a VGA in socket.

No idea on the tekki stuff but for sporty events there is wiziwig but you will want to have a malware thingy loaded on

Depends on what you are feeding into it, VGA is very different from AV analogue connections. Never heard of a SIMZ freeview box so dunno what it has connector-wise.

You may be able to get some kinda of converter for example hdmi to vga. But that depends on your box.
