It wasn't the best lineup we've seen, with a few wrinkly rock acts, but the Stereophonics were good, Paloma put on a good show and the Charlatans were very good - a day of boiling hot sunshine during the day, cursing the fact we had bought wet weather gear and wellies, then still getting soaked anyway when the heavens opened. Beer far too expensive at £4.90 for a bottle of Carling (not even a pint unless you went to the draught tent, and it was Carling Lager or Carling Cider). Food was £7 a portion for pretty much anything. Manage to smuggle wine bag babies in, but still got through over £120. Bus service door to door from Stafford Station was excellent - no queueing either end. Would we go again? - Yeah probably, but it is expensive and not surprised they had spare tickets, but it is a major festival and it is on the doorstep of Stafford so yeah probably, if we can find another £300 for it next year. Seemed to be far more girls there than blokes
