The line-up has been announced for this year's festival. The Killers, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Pink, James, The Kooks, Manic st Preachers, Primal Scream, KT Tunstall, The Fratellis, Damien Rice, Basement Jaxx, Amy Wino, Babyshambles, Happy Mondays, Editors, Mika, The Fray, Goo Goo Dolls, Sophie Ellis Beghertostop and Paolo Nutini.

I love it when the bands come on stage and shout " how you doin' Stafford" . . .Blatantly not, but I'm not gonna correct them.

i wonder if they'll play "sit down"? y'know, from their massive back catalogue of hits.. it's not like they've built a tenuous career on re-releasing it every other year or anything..

Tbh the line up looks shit. Well, to me anyway. Don't think I'll be attending although the misses wants to go and she intends to take Morgan too. Poor sod.

Blimey, that is brave. I can't look after myself at festivals let alone anyone else.(The whisky diet probably doesn't help).
Word of warning if you haven't been for a few years, it's heaving now from Fri-Mon. The last 3 years have been a real effort.

I'll pass the info on T, cheers. She should be alright to look after the little chap since she doesn't drink anymore. Or rather it's very rare she has a drink.

If I went I'd be belted by lunch.

Anyone going this weekend?

Stafford is chaotic right now with the buses having to detour round the Newport Road, always wanna go when I see the festival goers laden with crates of beer, struggling to the bus stop.

Sadly not be attending this year for the first time in a while . just recovering from fingers in ears and arran sweaters fest last weekend !

The weather report looks poo tho so maybe thats not too bad .. we got soaked last time outside the cider tent trying to see hayseed dixie , was top fun tho even if a bit soggy

No Winehouse either it seems which would be a reason for me to want to go .So its all working out sort of .

I'd have only gone for Amy Winehouse, but they made her go to Rehab . . . . will she ever sing that again?
Though according to E&S Kanye West is there on sunday!?!

Say hello and be nice to any firefighters you see, nice little earner for Staffs boys who are getting extra to do this on their days off! Not that I am jealous of course!

Thank God I didn't go to V. Would have been well wet.

There were loads of the poor sods at the station at half 6 yesterday morning. Looked thoroughly miserable. They didn't look too happy either.
