No medals for us I don't think, but did anyone see the snowboard cross last night. It was great, 4 blokes on a snowboard on a downhill course with jumps. First to the bottom wins, don't worry if you take out the opponent. Great entertainment. We didn't enter, which may explain why it was so good:)

I notice that they often refer to 'downhill skiing' in the news about the Winter Olympics. There's never any mention of 'uphill skiing', but I suppose the drugs testing regime has put payed to that..

Jesus CHRIST! That looks horrendous. There is absolutely no way you'd get me on one of them. Especially as some one died jsut in the qualifying for it. Bunch 'o Loons! I wonder where the nearest track is to the jewel in the crown?

They couldn't have winter olympics over here, first sign of snow and we'd have to cancel.
