Virgin Media internet down in ST17

I am off Silkmore in the ST17 area and everything is fine and has been fine for a long time, you can check here

The fix times arent real. Theyre just generic responses that roll over each time the deadline is almost reached. I had issues with my broadband dropping out almost every weekend for months. Every time i rang i was told theres an engineer on the way and to check the status to see the time that the repair would be done. I kept an eye on it and it just rolled over and over for about 4 days. Apparently the engineer was on his way for about 3 days. Must have been coming from mumbai where the call centre is, probably didnt have the part on the van and went back for it.

Virgin media are updating an exchange in the ST17 area this is to allow for the free speed increases they are rolling out, this could mean that the internet today is down for periods of the day.

Maybe it goes back to when the GPO ran the telephones?

I guess there doing it by exchange and the exchange they are working on today is in the ST17 area it may also cover other Stafford postcodes to, i put the ST17 area because that is were i am and i am being effected.

Anyone in the ST17 area maybe having very slow internet off an on i have rung Virgin and apparently the fix for this is not due until Thursday morning, i can hardly brows at all.

Mine has been taking extra long to do things these last few days. I was blaming the laptop , but maybe it isn't to blame after all then.

Mine's been fine; I haven't had any problems at all. I'm on Baswich.

Mine isn't exceptionally slow like when I've had problems in the past, just slower than normal.

It seems much better now i just hope that's the end of it.
