Vodafone - Coverage in stafford town centre

@Wormella is on O2, and I'm pretty sure she gets 4G in Stafford...

No I don't, I get excellent 3G coverage but I have to go to Brum or a random spot on the approach to Stoke via the train to get 4G

Three signal is awful now in weeping cross.

4G coverage near the university is excellent. I'm not sure how quickly the signal diminishes - I was researching a product in asda today using my phone and it was quicker than my home broadband is.

I might well get 4G, but I tend to bounce between wifi spots in Stafford I never notice

Then again, whenever they do try to put up a new mast, NIMBYs always do their level best to stop them.

O2 doesn't have 4G in Stafford yet but as Wormella says it does have good 3G. I find that H+ is more than enough speed and is quicker than ADSL broadband.

3 do an app now you can use over WiFi. We have a signal box at home, but the app is good when I'm in the wilds. Only slight issue is texts appear in the app not in the normal text service, on android at least.
