The people of Stafford will forever puzzle me! 50,000 march to support the hospital and then loads of them vote for the party that caused them to march?
It won't be long before they make cuts to their cuts..........or is that a double negative? And as for knocking Labour for doing everything that the Tories are now perfecting the art of - do me a favour!

I hate to say it, what is the alternative?

Labour....what a mess
According to the press it would seem so, but then only an idiot listens to the press. The conservatives have done such a marvelous job on Brexit though, thoroughly deserve to rule based on that alone.....

Law 4: Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.

Just out of interest

The Club on Lloyd street - used to be the Conservative Club. Is now the Constitutional Club.

Did they break away, or is it just a cosmetic name change?

The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.

Obviously a lot of those in that 50,000 that walked for their own interests but then couldn't be consistent with their actions. "Media has a lot to answer for!"

The media has to answer to its shareholders.

People who fund the media might like to consider their part in it.

It's not pedantic to correct a wrong

There were nothing like 50,000 people on the march

If you read police reports as frequently as I did ( hundreds and millions of them ) you'd come to realise accuracy is a fascinating concept
