Alternatively, if your boss is male, just tell him you have 'women's problems' and then appear to be about to go into depth about them at which point he'll stop you there and just say go home ;)

Have seen this used fairly effectively in the past!

nope- its not washing.

that fact that i rolled in late, am sweating vino and have club stamps on my hands has kind of given the game away!

was a good night though, saw reverend and the makers in the pissing rain last night as part of the tramlines festival.

Right then time for action stations... cough a bit and then start snorting and oinking.... if that doesn't work then I don't know what will. If the ask about the club stamps, claim you must have been exposed to the flu whilst in the club.

hmmmmm....lol

i just wish i could see properly- im using excel and every time i scroll down the page i cant focus....im hoping its just tiredness but i am starting to feel a bit like a tex avery cartoon character!!!

Ahhhh gridlines vs. hangover = FAIL!

For what its worth, if you need to make the excel sheet a bit larger, hold down CTRL on your keyboard and then roll your scroll wheel on the mouse and you can zoom in and out - this may help!

ultimate fail indeed!

the problem is that the sheet im working on is pretty wide and im trying to clean it up so i need to be able to see the whole row....and its as big as i can get it and doing that at the same time. lol

im just going very slowly and keeping an eye on the clock so i can leave as soon as my flexitime allows- half 3. being as i didnt roll in till 10, i think this is going to be possibly one of the least productive days of this year so far! lol

It was jovial comment attempting to lighten the mood of cookie monster along with anyone else suffering with the monday blues. Shouldn't you be out pointlessly delivering murdered rainforests to the doors of unsuspecting folk or something anyway?

No, I was working - for free, because I enjoy it. Then I was at the CAB because Stafford and Rural Homes = Has Dreadful Moron Farts...

Lets not get drawn into the whole 'earning your own way = useful member of society' argument again, its been done enough times. We all know where we stand, we all have different ideas as to what makes someone of worth to a community, so lets just forget it. Otherwise this thread will become a bitch fest within 3 posts and we'll all divert much needed energies from getting pissed.
