I'v just been drawing up a table of expenditure and income for when i go to university next sunday and as it stands i can do with all the help i can with basic items to live with. If anyone has any of the below spare and can provide them that would be great :) i can get my mum to travel :P

Pots and pans,
Wok,
Cuttery, Crocker, cooking utensils,
Glass's and mugs,

Any mothers who may have noticed something that i have missed, please point out :)

My advice would be don't bother taking a toaster, sandwich maker, pan set, kettle etc etc.... everyone in your hall will have them as well so its pointless.

Whatever you do, don't bother with the tv licence either... they may tell you you need one but I only know one person who had a tv licence in halls... my fiance :D and she wishes she'd never bothered.

I'm not sure that you'll get much help if you go round calling people 'mothers'.

basil

don't mention the blinds
Where are you off to for your studies? as the cost of living can vary from one town to another..............

Is your 'fiance' actually a fiancé or is she, as seems more likely, a fiancée? One can't be too careful these days? I should check now, before it's too late.

Whoops, I've just thrown out a bunch of pots and pans... Wilko is doing a very basic set for a fiver, Wok not included though. Mugs are 9p, utensils can be bought separately, two of each should do it, total cost no more than 2 quid... glasses - best price is Tesco at 74p for 4.
It's good to be a student sometimes.
