Washing Machine Repairs

Need my hot point looking at...think bearings have gone and motor makes an awful popping noise when moving to the super fast speed!

Any recommended engineers?

Tom Sturgess 01785 664860 has always been good fixing my washing machines in the past and a decent price too.

Tom Sturgess. Don't bother with anyone else. He always does an excellent job for a very good price.

He once had to fix my washer when a chenille throw disintegrated in it. He then wrote a report saying the machine was damaged due to the throw so we could claim back the repair cost from Dunelm. The throw was labelled as washable when it fact it wasn't. Dunelm had no choice but to pay for the repair.

You can pick up a very good second hand washer for £40 - £50 so don't spend too much on repairs!

Tom Sturgess put a reconditioned motor in mine for £60 and it lasted for years after that. If it's not worth repairing he will tell you and not rip you off.
