There's another quick way to get the search engine spiders come running.
Services like
Pingler will
ping a website you give them and send out a message to the
search engine spiders that there is some juicey new content for them to crawl.
(ping works on
ALL websites not just blogs)
That being said if you give pingler an
RSS feed it will work 10 times better.
If your site doesn't have an
RSS feed that is no problem. Services like
Feedity will create an RSS feed for you, for free, out of any website you give it.
So put the two together and you can announce to the interweb that they NEED to come look @ your site.
I took the liberty of plugging dovedelight.co.uk into
Pingler this morning. I also ran it through
Feedity and then plugged the resulting
RSS feed into
Pingler too.
