i know, i know - but it was hardly a secret! he had links to paul pickard photography in his signature, and kept putting them in the Links section lol..
Thanks for the suggestions a few more names to look into there.
Im not really sure how we're going to decide on whos best.
Dave Wakefield from Peter Rogers does wedding photos - i don't know whether he's any good, but i did go to school with him and he is certainly a good sort.I think the website is http://thornephotography.com/
I knew a couple who were divorced before their pictures appeared in Peter Roger's window display..Dave Wakefield did my wedding photos a few years back. Great photos - very professional and was great with the kids. Good price too.
Just a shame I'm lined up for a divorce 4 years later*
*Note:- this is by no means dave Wakefields fault
.....could've had epilepsy and whilst well meaning probably not quite appropriate at such an occasion......I remember a photographer who sent me, digitally, some examples of his work which included a wedding portrait. They didn't have titles but of course the images had file names. The wedding one was very conventional, showing happy young couple, smiling broadly for the camera. It was called 'Fit Bride'. Perhaps that optimistic young woman at the threshold of her new life might have been flattered by the description. I'd have been completely mortified. Although I am pleased to say that on my wedding day all eyes were on my beautiful spaniel bridesmaid.
