wanna see my snake?
We did that behind the mesh, just in case!If that fails something that was suggested in an old Victorian household book was to add lots of small pieces of broken glass to the cement.

Don't they piddle a bit everywhere they go?One has had a go at the cement but not the silicone. Do rats scent mark? Wondering if they will keep trying to get in as it's a known route, and I could dissuade them?

Glad it's not just women over 55...I am led to believe that's just @tek-monkey so that he can find his way home at night
My sister and her ex- (knobhead) had a massive rat problem, somehow the things had got into the cavity walls and then into the kitchen under the cupboards. No damage to seal but noises in the wall, quite possible I trapped one? He's now dead, trap got him quickly, but I'm very curious that he only just made an appearance. Wondering if there is a second entrance
Mine are coming in through the cavity wall, and also ate the expanding foam and copper mesh I tried first!
I already have a hole in the bedroom floor, don't want another!PAH !!
Stop f****** about, ignore complaints from the neighbours, the council, the government and the UN, and apply some real technology.
You know it makes sense !!

I try to avoid poison if possible, I don't like traps either but after 2 holes in floorboards I had to resort to something
A bungle of chicken wire.
