Me and the cat have just watched Dark Star, as predicted elsewhere. It was well worth moving it up the schedule, as a result of @The Hawk's comment.

I probably haven't seen it for over a decade and the end does still work, even if you do know it's coming.

The Prisoner was completed, with the latter episodes getting steadily more bonkers and 'performative' in a very avant-garde style. great stuff, though. Back again in a few years, I think.

Not sure what's next now.

A few posts under my belt
Is there a thread about this or is everyone too busy/intelligent to watch TV?

So..I am watching

Last Tango to Halifax.

Strictly Come Dancing

I'm a celebrity get me out of here ( yes me and another 10 million. Dont knock it if you haven't tried it)

Coronation st. ( yes me and another 10 million...see above)
I watched the full four hours of Kenneth Brammagh's Hamlet last night. I think Shakespeare could have lost about a quarter of the dialogue without anyone noticing. But, yeah, it was pretty cool. But I still reckon I could have done the "I have of late..." monologue with more authenticity. And a cigarette. That scene needs cigarettes.

We wasted time watching The Au Pair, what a load of tosh. That’s 4 hours of my life that I won’t get back.

Then we watched The Bay. Much more my cup of tea. Fabulous drama, superb acting.
Spoiled somewhat by husband pointing at the TV in the first 5 minutes saying “he did it” and he was right.
