With you all the way on that one, covid safe too.Have downloaded No Time to Die from Sky, viewing cost £16.99. Might seem pricey but given the nearest decent cinema to me is 30 miles away, that's a gallon of juice there and back before I start, so I figure it's comparable costing. It's in UHD and I'm going to enjoy it on a 65 inch screen UHD telly, sat in a nice reclining chair with a couple of cold beers (can pause it whenever I need more, or to pump some ballast) and avoiding an hours driving.
It might not be the cinema but it'll do.
Finished 'Squid Game' the other night
Peter Falk was a sadly underrated actor.Watched an old film on 'Talking Pictures' called 'Murder, Inc.' The reason I watched it is I saw it long ago as a schoolboy at the Sandonia, and I remember being impressed. It has an interesting opening credit: 'Introducing Peter Falk,' made even more interesting by the fact he was Oscar nominated for the role. (One of Lepke's hitmen, it was all based on a true story.)
It looks a bit corny now, but the era it was set in, the 1930/40's was anything but corny. Murder Incorporated killed on an assembly line basis.
