But you did have a decent actual camera! Not checked those pics yet myself. The photos I posted deliberately showed the wider perspective just in case any blue and white Suzi's were beating the red and white ones
Plus I didn't have a phone with a super decent camera unlike a certain forumite who was sitting next to me!!
I discovered today that the thread on the drive spindle is not the standard M14, as is generally "universal" in the angle-grinder world.Feels like a weekend, so this was today's job - a clean-up and service for the cordless grinder, including making the lock-off button work properly, handy on a cordless tool that you will pick up by the handle. And a slight modification to the pin-wrench, to ensure that it arrives with the grinder every time.

I would have preferred to fit it in a side-handle position, but the cooling vents preclude that option and it is going to be removed before use, anyway.
I've heard, via BBC weather (a totally unreliable source) that it will be even more scorchio for you tomorrow.... So please be careful, you too @BobClay - no more shenanigans on the roof!I've been running an experiment today. The greenhouse has any unused containers in it filled with water to provide a bit of thermal mass. There would be about 40 litres in there, I suppose. It's been noticeable just how hot these have got.
There are two clear plastic five litre bottles, one I have wrapped in a black bin liner since last night. The wrapped one has reached 44℃ now, as the shade encroaches on that greenhouse for the evening - the unswaddled one is at 38℃.
The ultimate plan is to get a black polythene container, possibly a diesel 'can', and fit it permanently, at the south-facing end, to provide warm water, particularly towards the end of the day.
I am about to do what little washing-up I have generated today with the gallon that I have got at no charge.
Some years ago, when I 'looked after' a student house, they got a large inflatable pool and were horrified by how cold it was when it was initially filled. I persuaded them to weight a few black bags down on the bottom of the pool and see what the solar radiation did. It was remarkably effective, warming the pool significantly over a shorter period than I expected. Having the 'absorber' at the bottom of the pool does greatly enhance its effectiveness.
I dunno bout the freezers, you need tell them get some potato salad in! I just fancied a nice dollop of the stuff, and there was noce.I've heard, via BBC weather (a totally unreliable source) that it will be even more scorchio for you tomorrow.... I didn't venture outside today, except 5 mins to look for the idiotic cat (no sign), tomorrow I'm at work, so will find any excuse I can to go find things in the walk in freezers....
Nothin in at the moment is there? I noticed yesterday when I wanted fruit, veg and salad sides etc..... Blame brexit, pingsolation etc.....I dunno bout the freezers, you need tell them get some potato salad in! I just fancied a nice dollop of the stuff, and there was noce.

Some may recall that I mounted @Carole's butt a couple of years ago. This is located on a north-facing wall and might get a little early-morning |Sun at this time of the year, then the last few hours in the evening, otherwise it is shaded..At last, I have finally plumbed in @Carole's butt - no more pumping water around...

I like to place the tap away from the possibility of being struck by those passing by.
I managed to save a lot of what was in it in its previous location and move that with the aid of an old wheelie bin.
It should fill up overnight, by the look of the rain radar...
