I am so jealous, you just cannot beat fish & chips by the sea!. They taste 100x better than in land locked Stafford.

I know fish n chips outside in sunshine is the best ever thing! , this holiday has been cancelled 3 times.... April 2020, August 2020, April 2021......i thought we would never get here....

And I still think uk holidays are the best... Abroad is great, but there are some great places in the UK.

Definately! There is nowhere better for a holiday than the UK, you just need the weather......

Yes, wine and food are very subjective. Take 100 people and get them to blind taste a £5 bottle of Aldi French 'plonk' versus a bottle of Petrus or DRC. A fair number will prefer the Aldi stuff because it is just what they like!. Likewise with food, what is too spicy/salty/hot for one person is perfect for someone else. Bit of an odd post from @Noah there but whatever....

I had tea all planned out, trip home from Wales, a stop at Waitrose for things we can only get there before we do a proper food shop tomorrow, then our favourite Chinese takeaway so no one had to cook and it finished off our holiday nicely....

I checked 3 times while I was away that they were open tonight.... 5 - 8.30pm it said..... Spent 1/2 hr phoning with no answer before checking the website again..... CLOSED TOLL THE 11TH AUGUST! Aggghhhhhhhhhhh!

Pizza from the local co-op now cooking, pimped by the carer, but not what I wanted!
