What's for dinner/tea?

Kohlrabi. Decided to give this a whirl and it’s lovely- smells a little like swede but has a sweet tone to it like an apple. Roasted with some black pepper, lovely.

Dominoes pizza, as no one wanted to cook, and we didn't go & do the big shop today either....

Laddo's just nipped down to Wimpy to bring us our teas. He was going to take the dogs down with him but they refused to step out the door when they saw the weather. So he's gone on his bike instead...

Mrs T's birthday today. Huge sirloin for me, smaller one for Mrs T, cheesy tater croquettes, mushrooms and onions, homemade green pepper and brandy sauce. Two bottles of red. (well, we did start early) Some posh ice cream courtesy of a neighbour.

She's well p*ssed off. We should have been in London yesterday and today, nice Italian last night and she was going to join Gurly's hen party for the afternoon today whilst I had a few beers, then a brilliant Turkish place we know in Finchley tonight.

Went to No 3 for birthday lunch and haven’t even bothered with anything for dinner/tea. Just going to have a cuppa and a few biscuits and watch the football.
