Pan gravy.
The carer makes a excellent pan gravy, but think that beefy Bisto belongs on everything.... I prefer chicken gravy on chicken, turkey gravy on turkey, and veggie gravy on random pie type things that aren't beef....

Because of work and what have you, I put a gammon joint (reduced price, as always) into the slow cooker late last night on a low heat. All I had to do when I came home from work was, bung some Aunty Bessies in the oven and Mr Sainsburys mash potato in the microwave. Yes, a lazy meal, but youngest does nights and I was on days.
Personally, I smother my mash tata in a Heinz BBQ sauce, while hisnibs has vegetarian gravy.
Well nice.

Same tonight. I love a lazy meal.
Cos I'm off all week, TGUWJLTFTBB is expecting a Mummy cooked meal almost every evening, apart from Thursdays when he goes out with his Dad somewhere. Then I either have a sandwich or Beans on Toast.

Lentil stew with Linda sausages.

I'm absolutely fuming - made soup for tomorrow - went to blitz it and the bottom fell out my blender and spilled it all over the kitchen side!! Grrrr!!

I was treated for tea tonight. TGUWJLTFTBB was meant go the pub with his mate, but he was a no show so he took his Mum the Hungry Horse instead. We both had Hunters Chicken, portions aren't a patch on what I would normally dish up, but adequate. We then had a pudding, I had Sticky Toffee pud with custard, only cos they do Apple Pie and not a Crumble. He had the Hot Fudge thing with Ice Cream. Bing bang Bong. Jobs's a good un.

Used the wrong 'maggies' packet for the chicken, so instead of 'italian herbs' on the chicken it was sweet chilli chicken with Mediterranean veg.

Lamb shank, mashed spuds, green beans and a few mangetouts.
Whenever there's Lamb Shank on a menu , that's a must for me!

Hubby did us Pukka chicken pies , mash & baked beans for tonight's tea.

And must add yesterday's Sunday lunch.. bloody lovely!!!..
Under my supervision
Hubby did a roast chicken , stuffing, roast spuds , cheesy mash , fresh carrots and broccoli, peas & gravy . Son and I really enjoyed it. Now he's trained I'll expect that each week 😉
