It was the chicken & raspberry, or Rabbit & marigold that did it for me, bloomin cats, are always decimating my raspberry & marigolds. Why do you have to be sterilised to have the Quail with Dandelion?
We had, from Kim's Kitchen...
Crispy chicken in Peking sauce
Chilli & garlic chicken
Sweet & sour chicken balls
Fries rice
Salt & pepper chips
Fortune cookies.
Same, we love Kims Kitchen, we have tried others (when they've not been available) but always go back to Kim's.We used to use Kim’s Kitchen but now that Neway has been in Weeping Cross for a few years we don’t go over there any more. Kim’s is one of the better Chinese in Stafford. We have tried most to find out which one is close to food we used to get when we lived in Hong Kong.
Quail with Dandelion?
Hmmm no idea, what does it do? As a kid we spent lots of hors on stafford common collecting dandelions as my dad used to make Dandelion wine! Was it medicinal?!Does dandelion have the same effect on cats as on humans?
In Barry Took's book, The Complete and Utter History of Round the Horne, he includes copies of letters he exchanged with a Japanese professor who was teaching himself English via the medium of RtH. Included in them was an explanation of a joke which revolved around the diuretic effects of dandelions.French name for dandelion is Pis-en-lit from the diuretic effect it has
Maybe that's, what all the dandelion wine was for.... All I remember is that it, and the homebrew exploded in the garage quite regularly. In Barry Took's book, The Complete and Utter History of Round the Horne, he includes copies of letters he exchanged with a Japanese professor who was teaching himself English via the medium of RtH. There is scientific evidence for the reality of the folk belief.I think that it is the leaves rather than the flowers that have the diuretic effect. Shouldn't bottle the wine while it is still fermenting.
Better not lick my 'lawn' then, mowed it this morning, but thanks to the little care it received all summer its now mostly dandilions.... Milky sap everywhere....There is scientific evidence for the reality of the folk belief.

I've believed that it is largely the milky sap that contains the effective agent.
Now I know why as kids we all called them piss-the Beds.French name for dandelion is Pis-en-lit from the diuretic effect it has
