What's going on today with the pigs...

Anarchy in the UK
Just (about half an hour ago) saw 3 or 4 police cars and a dark blue van with flashy lights and sirens go up over the Wolverhampton Road railway bridge - saw them go up as far as the off-license, I presume they went at least all the way into town. Anyone spotted them since or know where/why they went?

Late home for lunch maybe?

The Duke of Gloucester was up on the Tech Park today - no idea what for but their were a fair few coppers doing the rounds.

Oh and I would have preferred Jim Royle myself but we can't all get what we want :(

and i thought sheffield forum was bad for curtain twitchers. :rolleyes:

i can only presume with blues and twos they would have been attending an emergency- that would be their J-O-B.

The Chinese population have increased wealth and they value pork as a food very highly so as they become more wealthy more pork is needed. The increase in the pig population to supply this pork has a massive implication for the third world as they rely so much on existing grain supplies to stay alive . The fields that once fed the poorer countries are now sending the grain to China or wherever pigs are farmed, and therefore the world is in even greater danger of mass starvation

That, as they say, is what is going on with the pigs today

I admire a vegetarians willpower, just not their diet.

I'm a definate carnivore, everything else seems to be there merely to make the meat more appetising. I have a chest freezer full of various animals, and finding tastier ways to convert them into energy is a bit of a hobby. Tonight its a slightly bizarre moroccan lamb, it started life as a curry but evolved :D

From a good source the blue van contained a muderer under a high security escort to the court
