What's the deal with this mouse jobbie?!

I got a Logitech Cordless Keyboard and Mouse yesterday, and am a happy boy. The mouse is ace and has thumb buttons to go forward or backward a page etc, but there's one feature that has perplexed me; the scroll wheel can be clicked right and left as well as the normal up and down scroll, but nowt happens when you click it! I've had a look on the web but can't find an answer, probably cos my mind is now set on a nice cold beer after work. Any ideas? I'm sure I'll find out when IT give me permission to install the software which came with it, but i'm impatient and want to know NOW!!!

I've got the same, and mine does nowt either! I think you need drivers? My mouse was OEM though, so got none. Think its to scroll sideways?

And watch it with that beer, you'll become a violent crim you know ;)

I was gonna ask you if you'd be gracing us with your presence in the Railway beer garden again this eve, but I guess you'll be outside Tesco drinking your White Lightning again, huh?!

I could understand if it was white lightening, I only had Strongbow :(

Not sure on tonight, thought I got paid today but I didn't so have £20 to last me a week! Plus I have an £80 fine to pay! What time you going down?

Depends whether I leave here at 4.30 or 5, but either way will be supping a cold one at 5.30! Anyone else reading this - come along! It's a lovely sunny afternoon, and the beer garden is really nice.

i've got a logitech cordless desktop, and it's the bee's nuts.. the horizontal action of the scroll wheel allows you to scroll left and right - a big webpage, or windowed word document, for example.. doesn't sound terribly useful, but once you get used to it you really start to miss it on regular mice/mouses (what is the plural of [computer] mouse??)..
