There is a new one starting up in Stafford, will be delivered to most homes in the town (28,000 IIRC?). Can't remember offhand the name but know someone involved, want me to get the contact details? Can't remember the costs either, but do remember thinking it was rather good for that sort of penetration (ooer) as the others hit a lot less.

Post the details up Tek, as others might be interested as well with that kind of circulation.

Its called FeelGood Stafford, its a new venture being run not for profit by a local. As such the website isn't fully set up at the moment, I can't find the tariffs page for example, but the contact details are on there:

http://www.feelgoodstafford.com/advertise/

If you need more information I can try and find out, I'm not involved but know someone that is. You'll probably get a quicker response using the contact page though:

As your asking........ You could always try the Digital Screen on Newport Rd, 75,000 footfall per week from only £24.99 ;)

@Ad-V Stafford I notice your screen the other day has a fault at the top right with a blue bar being shown affecting images in that corner. It lights up bright blue even when the entire display is black. I'm assuming you know about this?

What fraction of that 75,000 would see your ad though? Am actually interested, what do you charge for an ad at peak (i.e. traffic jam) times?

Hi wmrcomputers

Yes we are aware of the fault. As it does not effect any of the information on the current adverts displayed we are waiting for a window of good weather (forecast) so we can safely get in to fix the fault. :)

Hi tek-monkey

We provide 4 packages to suit a range of businesses and budgets.

Off-Peak @ £24.99pw
Night (Nightclub Hours) @ £29.99pw
Peak @ £59.99pw
Gold Package (All of the above + 12 second exposure time / usually 8 seconds) @ £89.99pw

a rough break down of the exposure of the 75,000 in a percentage is...

Peak 70%
Off Peak 20%
Night Time 10%

Newport road is a major link road and during the hours of peak the traffic is often stationary or very slow moving giving a much higher exposure.

If you would like any further information please feel free to drop me an email or PM.

Many Thanks

Craig

I'm assuming the 75000 is for traffic going in both directions, so only half the traffic gets to see your sign ( unless they look at it in reverse in their rvm)?

You mention exposure time, but what is the delay between impressions? If I went for the peak @ £59.99 how many times would my advert be shown in that peak period? How many instances would I get per hour and will it be shown evenly spaced? What about weekdays vs weekends? What hours do you consider peak? I'd dismiss nightclub hours out of hand, nobody remembers details like that after they've had a few! It could be a great deal or it could be poor, very hard to tell from those figures.

I considered running an ad myself on it, but decided not to for similar reasons Tek. However, I'll soon be launchind a new business venture for which I think even those nightclub hours MAY help, so will probably give it a blast at some point.

As well as Tek-Monkeys questions @Ad-V Stafford please could you remind me of the minimum duration. Thanks
