My old mate Gilbert sidled up to me and whispered " Basil I think that old duffer could be that Marwood chappie." I was intent on challenging him and claiming my 5 guineas however on my return from the gents, he was gone.........

One of the Stafford Beer Festivals, I think probably the first or second one at Blessed Billy's. Several forumites had arranged to go there on a particular session & meet up. I mentioned this to someone and they pointed out several people as forumites. Given my total inability to associate names with people it is quite possible that I have things muddled, or perhaps the information wasn't correct in the first place.
