Why is there constant interest in Katie Price AKA Jordan ??

I like to think of it as something to do with the national obsession with soap operas, people like Katie Price act in the soap opera of their lives, hell, she even had a character name. It's a bit worrying though, along the lines of blurring reality with fiction and how many people desire to follow in her footsteps, are the yoof losing grip on reality because of 'reality' TV?
