Anyone tried House of the Dead Overkill for the Wii yet?

Just got it last night... anyone who enjoys "shooters" will probably love this. Its not going to take hours on end to finish, but just the sheer tackiness of it makes it fun and funny.

Anyone else got any decent Wii games on the go at the minute?

This. It's great fun, and there is tons of replay value in going for high scores. Long runs of a 'Goregasm' are so satisfying.

Also, Super Mario Galaxy, nach. It's a thing of beauty.

i might have to get lovefilm on the case for this House Of The Dead business, thanks for the recommendations..

i'm looking forward to Madworld (obviously), and everyone spunks over Resident Evil IV so i reckon i'm gonna give that a bash too..

metroid prime 3 is basically the same as its two predecessors, but that's no bad thing at all and i would definitely recommend it..

innit, i got it for christmas 2007 (yes, year before last) and i still haven't completed it! fair enough, i probably only sit down to play it once a fortnight, but even so - the amount of playability in it is ridonkulous..

Resident evil IV is brilliant on the wii. So much better actually being to aim with the wiimote especially if you have the gun adapter thingy. Apart from that totally agree with the SMG recommendations. The only games ive bought which ive not been fond of are paper mario and red steel which was a nice idea just poorly executed. Im a bit fan of FPS but got sick of this very quickly and is probably the only game ive bought and not bothered completing. Pro evolution is great too, dont normally like football games but control system's so good it won me over.

What gun attachment does anyone recommend?

I was looking at one on Deal Extreme, but with the rubbish exchange rate, Argos is almost the same price with easy returns....

108 Stars I'm on, since Xmas 2008. Last few are painful though.

Dead Rising is out soon - did anyone play it on other formats? Any good?

As with RE4: wiimote as chainsaw + zombies = win (surely?)

Can anyone tell me why I am unlocking Star Cup (MarioKart) and the new circuits via Grand Prix but some how losing them each time I switch off?

are you saving your progress?

note i've never actually played mario kart wii, so this is a complete guess lol.. in fact, thinking of other nintendo titles (e.g. SSBB), there isn't actually a dedicated "save progress" option, it just does it automatically, so i don't know why i'd think there would be one in mario kart..

edit: sorry, that was of no help at all lol..

Either what Tek said, or when you start it up, do you play on a licence? I always do so not sure if its possible but maybe there is a "guest" option that wouldn't save your progress as you need to be on a licence.
