We went once it was a nightmare, they were over booked, crammed us all in and then drove us all insane by playing a horrible chinesey happy birthday song every 5 mins for the few zillion folk who said it was their birthday. To top it off they charged us for a 6 week old baby who certainly didn't eat any of their food.
I'm not a fan, i'm afraid.

i live in wolves, and it's what you expect. decent priced all you can eat buffet, decent choice of dishes, tastes fine. if you go for lunch on a weekday it's more than reasonable in price and value

I used to sometimes go to the one by the Wing Wah supermarket not far from the Villa ground, it was a couple of quid dearer than the Big Wok but I always thought more than a couple of quid better. If you get my meaning.

in birmingham i think you'd be better off going to one of the buffests in chinatown. i can reccomend one, but can't remember the name of it. useful, i know...

On a similar note we had a meal at Cosmo at Bentley Bridge last night - probably the best all you can eat thingy I've been too...

If it's the one at Fordhouses, watch where you park! There is a smallish carpark outside the place but not all of it belongs to Wing Wahs. If you park in a space belonging to one of the other shops (can't remember whch one) you get done! When I went a few years ago we had to park in a side road nearby.

I found plenty of choice of food to eat, even though I'm not a fan of Chinese food (went with a works outing) but we did have to wait ages in the bar to get served when we first got there and then had to wait ages for our table.

Was a bit too manic for me, seemed too many people crammed into the place and that bloody birthday song being played every few minutes!!!!! There was about 8 of us around table but we could only talk to the person immediately next to us as it was so noisy that you couldn't hear the conversation across the table.

As per earlier post, I reckon it's pretty OK.
