Wolf Mountain

The Venerable Mrs Seed, the Seedlings and I, went to the above place for a family outing. Brilliant! It's an indoor climbing centre, and they even have a caving section to simulate underground exploration.

We went for a taster session, which didn't work out cheap at a tenner a head for an hour, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, subsequent visits can be achieved much more reasonably.

There were a variety of climbs, overhangs. etc'. Our normally timid 7 yr old was soon scuttling up the fibreglass cliffs, and though non of us are experienced climbers at all, we were soon all joining him. They have a web site which gives all the details, Here, including kids parties etc'. Very friendly helpful staff, our lass was from Walton! Thoroughly reccomended, and makes me even more aware that modest a climbing facility could easily have been included in the New Riverside, but wasn't!
