Working hard for Stafford and Penkridge.

Gullis really is an unpleasant human being, if you’ve ever browsed his socials it’s all absolute race baiting tripe
Gullis was a teacher - removing him from that area is the only redeeming feature of his election as an MP.

Although, he does understand the mentality of his supporters.

It’s all the fault of the Whigs

Or the Romans

Or Planet of the Apes

You can’t blame the Conservatives!

Only the kuntz who voted for them

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
People around here are moaning about our local parties hand delivering xmas cards to everyone , with the offer of help if needed . Posting photos of them binning them .
At least it's the first time I've ever had one from an MP, never had one in Stafford in all my years 66 years of living there! I thought it was a nice touch myself ....
I'd rather have an MP who actually wants to help our town than sends Christmas cards. Clarke has done nothing since she was elected to make me think that she actually cares anything about Stafford.

Indeed. Especially if it’s from a Tory MP - we’re in this mess because of them, a Christmas card offering “help” would just be rubbing salt in the wound

Claiming expenses of £22.87 per hour, 24 hours a day, isn't going to leave you much time to do anything else.

Health Minister says …

Do not play contact sports, have intercourse, or drive a motor vehicle during strike days

Stay at home, sit in your chair, boil no kettle

The Army insists that they are clueless about being the ambulance service of Great Britain

Vote Conservative again Stafford !

You deserve all that’s coming to you, but not actually ejaculating on you

Proud Nation

But not too proud

To be fair, expenses includes rent, utilities and staffing for the office - the people who actually do their jobs, unlike Theo. That number makes a bit more sense with that context.

And of course the mandatory suppliers they have to use since the expenses scandal, such as Chubb Security, who did an absolutely shit job.

Yes, and "staffing for the office" must be quite a bit of this, but have they been off on maternity leave too ?

There are left wing types in Penkridge, you know the sort I mean. Reasonable. So we need to bin those for some decent country land owners who support the cause , themselves
Proposal seems to be to keep Stafford Tory and swamp left wingers in Great Wyrley with tories in Stone & Penkridge to create another Tory safe seat. Gerrymandering.

And some people still seem to think politicians aren't crooks.

:lolsmash:Wyrley left wing? It's been tory for as long as I remember any poor left wingers there get drowned out. A fair few of the residents both there and in Cheslyn Hay are uhm well, right wing. Not all I hasten to add, I mean I used to live there lol and my school friends weren't tory toss pots, so there must still be some left, sadly one or two have since slid over to the right. I remember the opposition to both the first Chinese and Indian takeaway. Most of it hysterical and obsessed with perceived 'smell' nuisance. They were more than happy for various chip shops though.
I look back on my childhood home with fond memories but the people always did and still do drive me up the wall.

Wyrley objecting to an Indian takeaway reminds me of how they treated George Edalji many years earlier.
